But I played ass loads of volleyball yesterday.

Surely that should have led to some weight loss. But no. 206. Not much of a gain, but not what I was expecting.

And it's all in the waist- up one inch. Crap. Explains why my pants were tighter. Though my boobs attempted to make up that difference- they are down 3/4".

I don't think Thanksgiving is going to help much either. Sigh. I suppose I will try to keep things under control. Such a pain.

So apparently

my body likes to float between 209 and 205. Last week (around ovulation- I'm noticing a trend here) I was a little over 209. This morning? 205.2. WTF. Granted I stepped things back up a bit, but come on. I guess as long as I am not back up to 209 next week I shouldn't complain and be happy that I haven't lost any ground.

I have actually done pretty well this week. I have managed to actually workout beyond just volleyball this week. Hopefully my weight will reflect that a bit- it was 209.4 this past Monday.

I have also been much better about actually sticking with my WW crap. I rolled into this morning with 21 flex points remaining. Go me.

I was even good and did my measurements today.
Hips- 43.75 (+.25 from last measurement)
Thighs- 24.5 (+1.5)
Waist- 37.0 (-.5)

Back on the pogo stick

Or whatever. Missing last week was so not my fault. My cold is essentially gone and I no longer have to tend to DH, so I am out of excuses. I will start working out again on Wednesday as I would like to be able to walk for volleyball tomorrow.

Today's weigh in was a huge shock- 205.4. Lowest it has been. Considering last week was around 209, I am shocked. Then again I do tend to bloat up around ovulation, and that is supposedly past, so it would make sense.

So hooray to me! Looks like I have a shot at getting under 200 before my doctor appointment.

I fucking suck.

Seriously. It's been how long? I'm still paying for WW damn it! I have so not been using it like I should. I have vowed I will not set foot in my RE's office weighing over 200 lbs, so I need to get my ass in gear. I need to check out the weight situation in the morning as I forgot this moring (ok, I actually overslept and crawled out of bed almost 10 minutes after I needed to leave for work).

I hopped on the scale yesterday evening while J was at the doctor and it said 111.4-ish fully clothed at the end of the day. Not pretty.

So back on the weight loss train I go. Whee! Hopefully the flu doesn't get it's evilness too deep into me so I lose another week or whatever.

Down is always good.

207.6 today! Woo hoo!

I overslept yesterday and forgot to weigh myself, so I did it this morning. I am pretty happy with that- at least something is going right. I went shopping this week for some new work clothes as mine (mainly the pants) were getting big to the point that they looked bad. The ones I got rid of were size 20-22.

I bought size 16's!

I should probably do another pic again. Maybe next week. I will make a note to try to dig up the same outfit to try and keep it noticable. It's been almost 7 lbs. since my last one. Crazy.

Well now.

Last week's weight was entertaining- 211. Lovely. This week I was back down to 208.8, so I will live with that. Can I blame last week on O bloating? I think I will.

I honestly expected it to be like 215 this morning. I ate like shiit all weekend, and wasn't all that diligent during the week either. I am not going to bank on this happening all the time, but it was nice. I forgot how tasty Oreos are and they are not allowed back in this house any time soon!

Post Meet

So this week was a bit of a crap shoot. I was still trying to make 198 by cutting, but had to abandon that mid week as it became quite clear that wasn't going to happen.

I had to eat quite a bit yesterday to make sure I had enough energy and today I was kind of giving myself a free pass since Monday is my reset day and I never got to eat the first part of the week. Tomorrow's weight could be very, very interesting.

I considered not doing stats tonight, but what the hell.

Whoops

I get more stalkers and I slack off on my blog. My bad.

Last week's weight- 213.4
I skipped measurements last weekend, and probably will this weekend as well since I will be OOT. I haven't decided if I am bringing the scale with me on vacation. I may just wait until Tuesday for next week's weight.

This week- total shocker because I totally slacked (if you count eating fast food a couple times slacking and drinking through a volleyball tourney slacking).
Monday's weight- 212.2
That puts me at 5% body weight lost so far!

The waist measurement worries me a little, but I am also right around a week away from AF, so it's not a major surprise that it went up a little bit. Next week probably won't be pretty either.

And thank God my chest is getting smaller. I can freaking tell the difference when I am running. I'm not flopping around in my super duper strap em' down bra like I was before.

Yikes.

Holy hell, I am terrified for my weight tomorrow morning. This week was not pretty stat wise.

Hips- 47" (-.5" total, +1" from last week)
Thighs- 25" (-2" total, +.5" from last week)
Waist- 37" (-4.5" total. Apparently the inch and a half I lost here this week settled into my hips and thighs)
Bewbs- 46.5" (+2" total, +4.5" from last week. I pray that this is period related. I pray)

I probably better start praying for a miracle tomorrow morning- me thinks I will need it judging by tonight's weight.

Last May measurements!

I am going to stop with the whole dress size thing. Chances that I will be trying on a dress soon are slim, and I don't find it to be a very good indicator- I wore a size 16 when I weighed 185 lbs and when I weighed 240.

As for the others:
Hips: 46" (-1.5" total)
Thighs: 24.5" (-2.5" total)
Waist: 38.5" (-3" total! Woot!)
Bewbs: 42" (-2.5" total. J is starting to get disappointed by this result)
Arms: 14.5" (-1 total)

I was pleastantly surprised by my hips and waist measurements this week.
Arms will likely not go down much more and are more likely to go up if anything. I really don't have fat on my arms and with getting back into lifting, they are likely going to get bigger.

217.8 Down .8 lbs this week. I can live with that- I did not eat well at all the last couple days and loved every second of it. It was well worth it.

Sunday Measurements

Weight is tomorrow morning. I am hoping I didn't kill it too much with my crappy eating this week (I have over 40 activity points to swap yet). I was 219.2 (.6 over last weeks weight) after eating a heavy breakfast this morning, so as long as I get off my ass today, I should be at least under where I was.

Other measurements:
Hips: 46.75" (-.75" overall)
Thighs: 25" (-2" overall)
Waist: 39" (-2.5" overall- and this is after eating sais breakfast and I am a bit bloated)
Bust: 43.5" (-1" overall- I am thinking ovulation may have had somethig to do with last weeks increase)
Arms: 14.5" (-1" overall- there is really no reason for this number to go down. Actually when I start hitting the bench and arm workouts more, it will go up. My arms are not fat- hell my forearms are nothing but skin and bones).

Overall- I am satisfied with these. I woudl like to see the hips and thighs making a bit more progress, but it is still early and that is a stubborn area. It is nice to see how much I have lost in my waist- I need to keep that number moving down though.

A little background

I haven't always been the fat girl. While I was never a twig, I was never big either. Growing up, I was in many sports, and that combined with working on the farm, I always remained slim. My sophomore year of high school I got up to a whopping 160 over the winter since I had stopped playing volleyball and basketball, but come track season, I went right back down.

When I started college, I was maybe 135 soaking wet (hooray anorexia). I got away from a psycho boyfriend and found a new one who wasn't very active. At the end of the year, I was around 185. I wasn't happy, and struggled for ages to lose weight, but eventually did and was around 165 when I met J. At that point, I was eating nothing but a slim fast shake for breakfast, then a tiny salad for lunch and supper and was running 3 miles a day. Meeting him changed that. I also started powerlifting at this time. My first couple meets I managed to pull off weighing in at 165 (and cut like a mother one meet from 178 to 163 in 12 days for one), but quickly moved up to 181, and then 198 shortly after. Eventually even 198 became a struggle to hit (I couldn't even cut there at this point).

Through the years of lifting, I slowly gained weight. I kept blaming it on the lifting, but if this were really the case I would have been making way bigger gains in the gym. With cutting weight for meets, I am somewhat fear I may have done some damage to my metabolism. Only time will tell.

So the plan for now is to lose weight the right way- exercising mostly normal (still lifting though) and eating better. Calorie counting doesn't work for me as I have a bit of an addictive personality and tend to overdo things (meaning I end up at 500-600 calories a day before I give up and binge). So far the Weight Watchers thing feels much better than that. Hopefully this good trend continues!
